There’s a 24 Hour Fitness a half-mile away from my apartment. It was even a deciding factor when I moved in. Months have gone by since then, and have I joined? Um, no.
I had good intention and I've at least started my research. I know that 24 Hour Fitness offers their best deals on weekends, so I’ve made it a habit to check their site regularly, until I found this deal.
Costco is offering a two-year 24 Hour Fitness membership for only $299. At first I thought, wow! Then I thought, nah, I can’t commit to that long. Or to that much, for that matter.

Buyer Beware, 24hr are not all the same many are a DUMP and No frills or even towel service. Staff are horrible. This only covers sport or less, they like to close them and open super or better and then you're out or have to pay more. Good deal on paper but 24 hr is Walmart of fitness. You get what you pay for.
I have been a no frills 24hr Fitness for over 16 yrs. The staff have been competent and helpful. Old equipment have been updated. But the Costco offer is a real deal, you can go to any 24hr Fitness and it is not the Walmart of fitness, Bally falls in that category.
I had membership at 24 and I enjoyed the experience I like the employees, equipment was nice and updated and the facilities were always clean. Costco has a great deal going.
