Those who "like" Urban Outfitters on Facebook by October 25 have a surprise in store. No, sales tax isn't increasing. Actually, nobody's sure what the surprise is, but an announcement on the Facebook page says 'We're giving our Facebook fans something special on October 25th! "Like us if you dare."'
Well, I double dare you.
UPDATE: It's Monday, October 25 and guess what the free gift is. A coupon for $25 off online orders of $75 or more. Are you kidding me? A gift is supposed to be free! Still want the dang code? OK fine, it's DAWNOFTHEDEAL and the offer is valid October 25-29, 2010.
